If it is murder to kill a human being in any stage of life, then abortion, the murder of the fetus, is obviously wrong, because murder is one of the ethical absolutes.

When we perform an abortion, we take the life of an innocent child.

The most obvious reason why I think that abortion is immoral is because it is the intentional killing of a human being. The main argument is that you are killing an unborn baby, murdering an unsuspecting life, if the baby was born and not inside the mother, it would be illegal to kill it. The main argument of pro-choice advocates is that women should have the right to choose what happens to their own bodies. One of the oldest arguments against abortion is the religious standpoint. One ground for going against religion as an argument against abortion is the fact that the Church is dominated by male influence (bender & Leone, 101). This hypocrisy thus discredits the religious argument against abortion. The second argument, which opposes abortion, states that abortion shouldn't be a woman's personal choice. Critics of this argument claim abortion should be a woman's personal choice.

It is a well-known fact that life begins at the moment of conception.

That is the biggest reason it was preformed in secret because it was taking so many lives.

Although abortion was not legal in the past it was being preformed on women since the fifteenth century all over the globe, but, most women did not survive the surgery.

She does this of her own free will, and is in control over what she is doing.

If a person decides to have sex, whether it is done with protection or not, the result is her responsibility and she must be willing to deal with the consequences. When a woman gets pregnant, it is usually a result of her own choices, even if the pregnancy is unwanted or unplanned.

There is no black and white in life, only gray areas.

Some issues tend to provide us more gray areas than others. Those who refute abortion claim that it is the murder of a helpless baby who has not yet had the chance to live and function as a human being.
